As an Equipment Engineer in NXP’s ETCH department, I own and maintain AMAT 5200 Centura Dry ETCH tools — specifically the ECTVIA and ESLUG toolsets. My day-to-day work spans hands-on preventative maintenance, process troubleshooting, and cross-functional project leadership. In addition to maintaining tool health and uptime, I develop new diagnostic and automation capabilities that improve how engineers and technicians operate on the fab floor.
Highlights
Toolset Decommission — $100K saved by eliminating ongoing maintenance costs and safety hazards.
Particle Mitigation CAB — driving a new cleaning method to reduce chamber-fault debris.
AI Maintenance Agent — AI-powered tool to help technicians troubleshoot and maintain equipment faster.
