I, along with a teammate, designed and built an automated ball-balancing platform using a Raspberry Pi Pico, dual servo motors, resistive touch screen, and a 3D-printed mechanical assembly. We created the wiring, firmware, and PID-based control software that enabled closed-loop stabilization of a steel ball at any programmed coordinate on the touch surface. Throughout the project, I gained hands-on experience across mechanical design, circuit prototyping, microcontroller programming, and sensor integration while debugging a real-time mechatronic system.
